2005 is the 25th Anniversary of the Terraco Group and
it is with great pride I look back on the company’s
progress over these past two and a half decades. Growth
during these years has been substantial and the Group
currently comprises 14 factories and over 600 employees
worldwide.
In the coming year Terraco will consolidate and rejuvenate
– the company will move production in Jordan,
Guangdong (South China) and UAE to new-purpose built
facilities ensuring we are well-positioned to provide
our customers with the latest developments in the coating
industry. Additionally our new facility in Shanghai
(East China) will come online during the first quarter
of 2005. This will not only substantially increase our
Chinese production capacity but will also ensure that
we will be able to better service our customers in the
eastern Chinese market. Inline with the Group’s
expansion plans we will continue to invest in new emerging
markets and plan to have an additional 4 production
facilities operational within the next 24 months.
Developments on the product side include the launch
of of the EcoLife™ products, our ultra-ecological
range, strengthening our position as the leading producer
of environmentally friendly finishing materials.
In recent years many fast developing countries are
seeing the need for and are embracing the concept of
industrial standards. It is very gratifying for me to
see Terraco being invited to propose parameters for
such quality standards in countries in which we operate.
It is our firm belief that proper industrial standards
benefit everyone – architects, contractors, clients,
property owners, future tenants as well as builders
and material producers – helping to ensure that
customers are getting the right products whilst preventing
the undermining of quality by actors propagating sub-standard
products. Terraco aims to offer quality, durability
and unbeatable long-term value.
The continuing success of the Group is a testament
to the efforts and dedication of all the staff and employees
most of whom have been with the firm since the start-up
of our individual operations. As the Group continues
to expand we look forward to welcoming tomorrow’s
candidates to the Terraco family.
