Terraco Scandinavian products were first introduced through importation
onto the market in Guangdong Province in Southern China. From there,
extension of the sales and marketing network has been spectacularly
rapid and by the end of 1999 Terraco products were familiar to the
architectural sector of the economy in all major centres of population
in the People's Republic.
Terraco China commenced production in October of 1999 in a new,
custom built manufacturing plant, producing a large range of products,
including wall putties, ceramic tile fixing materials, water proofers,
ready mixed and dry powder textured coatings. These have generated
particularly strong interest in the Chinese market. Terraco products
have already been used in a large number of very prestigious projects.
In the southern region these include the Xinhui District City Hall
and the Shunde District Senior Government Officials' Guest House.
